About Ashlyns

Ashlyns Farm is run by the Collins family and is a well established business which farms 1500 acres of organic land near Ongar in Essex.

It is a demonstration farm for the Soil Association who have been campaigning for many years to improve organic standards. The farm is open to the public - just collect your trail map from the farm shop and away you go!

Dr Tim Gardiner has now published his report.  The aim was to see if the well known benefits of organic farming to biodiversity could be proven here at Ashlyns. The results of his study are available here
