Wednesday 28th May - 10.00am to 3.00m - Farmer's MarketWe are holding a farmer's market at the Farm Shop with over 20 stands. There will also be a barbecue, tractor and trailer rides and bouncy castle. If you would like to reserve a table in the restaurant book now! 1st June 2008 - Open Farm Sunday 10.00am - 4.00pmThis is a nationwide event where designated farms open their gates to the public. Ashlyns is open to the public free of charge every day but we are pleased to be involved. On the day we will be conducting tractor and trailer rides around the farm, nature walks, all our farm machinery will be lined up and the farm guys will be there to tell you about how organic farming works. Ongar Young Farmers are helping us, as well as the above there will be a bouncy castle, barbecue, etc. Courses for all at the Training Kitchen ...Ashlyns Organics is running a series of courses throughout May for those of you who would like to know more about cooking for babies and toddlers, bread making, cooking with chocolate, fish and seafood, basic butchery, click here Dine in Sytle ...A newly constructed extension to our farm shop, the restaurant is open 7 days a week with menus updated daily. About AshlynsAshlyns Farm is run by the Collins family and is a well established business which farms 1500 acres of organic land near Ongar in Essex. It is a demonstration farm for the Soil Association who have been campaigning for many years to improve organic standards. The farm is open to the public - just collect your trail map from the farm shop and away you go!
